Nevada Medication Assistance Program

The Nevada Medication Assistance Program also known as the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) provides medications and services to eligible Nevadans Living with HIV/AIDS. The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health manages Nevada Medication Assistance Program through the Ryan White Part B Program in the state Office of HIV/AIDS. The Nevada Medication Assistance Program provides medication copayment and deductible assistance to insured and uninsured, eligible clients. Nevada’s AIDS Drug Assistance (ADAP) Formulary is geared toward optimum patient care; medications are maintained in coordination with and by recommendation of the Medical Advisory Committee (MAC).

Am I Eligilbe for Nevada Medication Assistance Program?

Nevada Medication Assistance Program:

  • Confirmed HIV diagnosis
  • Initial laboratory tests of CD4 and viral load completed within the prior six months
  • Proof of existing insurance coverage or the lack of insurance coverage
  • Nevada residency, or efforts to gain Nevada residency
  • Household income not to excel 400% of the Federal Poverty Level
