Colorado HIV Programs
The HIV Care and Treatment programs at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment administers Ryan White Part B funding for the state of Colorado. The Ryan White Part B funds and funding from the State of Colorado are utilized to deliver services in four core areas: the HIV Medication Assistance Program, Medicare Part D State Pharmaceutical Assistance Program, Health Insurance Assistance Program, and HIV Care and Case Management.
Colorado HIV Medication for Uninsured (HMAP)
The Colorado HIV Medication Assistance Program (HMAP) is a program to provide medications on an outpatient basis to uninsured Colorado residents who qualify for the program.

What Is The HIV Insurance Assistance Program (HIAP)?
The Colorado HIV Insurance Assistance Program (HIAP) is a program to help Colorado residents receive assistance with the costs of private health insurance (through an employer, COBRA plan, or through the Colorado Health Insurance Marketplace. The HIAP can help with various types of financial assistance, including premiums, as well as medical and prescription deductibles, co-insurance and co-pays. HIAP members can fill at an extensive number of pharmacies statewide. Please see the pharmacy locator on the left side of this page. Please note: If you are required to use a particular pharmacy by your insurance provider in order to get pharmacy benefits, Colorado SDAP does require you to do so if at all impossible. Work with the Helpdesk at (303) 692-2716 or a local Health Access Program Coordinator if necessary to coordinate payment.

The Bridging the Gap Colorado (BTGC) Program covers the costs of a program member's Medicare Part D Plan (PDP) or Medicare Advantage plans with prescription plan (MAPDP) deductible, co-payments, co-insurance, and costs. It can also pay for the premium for eligible PDP and MAPDPs

What is Bridging the Gap Colorado (SPAP)?
State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs are state sponsored programs that help specific groups of people such as the elderly and disabled access prescription medications. SPAP program coverage varies from State to State. Ramsell administers SPAP's that provide wrap-around coverage to its members who enroll in a Medicare Part D Prescription drug plan or Medicare Advantage Plans with prescription drug availability.
