Ramsell Holding Corporation Major Donor to the "Remember Them: Champions for Humanity" Bronze Monument
Oakland, Calif., September 13, 2010 — Ramsell Holding Corporation, a family of businesses that has a long history of commitment to the community and serving the underserved and those that are less fortunate, announced today that it recently became a major donor to the "Remember Them: Champions for Humanity" bronze monument. The monument, which is scheduled to be installed on September 11, 2011, and will be located next to the Fox Theatre in the Uptown Park neighborhood of downtown Oakland, is an inspiring, larger-than-life bronze sculpture that depicts twenty-five diverse role models who have made significant contributions toward global peace, freedom and human rights. It will be the largest such bronze sculpture in the western United States.
"The significance of the bronze sculpture also includes an educational component and its mission to: inspire the public to deepen their personal commitment to humanitarian values and actions in their own lives and communities. The message and what the sculpture symbolizes is in harmony with the mission and values of Ramsell Holding Corporation, which is to serve the underserved and take care of the most fragile among us," said Eric Flowers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ramsell Holding Corporation.
