Ramsell Continues Long-Standing Relationship with California Office of AIDS
Oakland, Calif., August 9, 2011 — Ramsell, a pharmacy benefit and information management company, today announced the California Office of AIDS has renewed its contract to administer the state AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP).
Established in 1987, the California ADAP provides HIV/AIDS-related prescription drugs to more than 35,000 individuals living with the disease who are uninsured or underinsured. Currently, the program covers more than 180 FDA-approved prescription drugs through a network of more than 4,200 pharmacies statewide. For more than 15 years, Ramsell has managed the program enrollment and eligibility administration, coordination of benefit services, pharmacy network management, claims processing and related services.
